The 2020 KE Award Categories
The KE Awards provide recognition nationally, and beyond, for the exceptional work that is taking place across the sector. Winning, or being shortlisted for an award, can enhance your reputation and that of your team and your institution.
The awards can increase the visibility of your work, help secure new business and also be used by your institution as future case studies.
- The awards will open for entries on Monday 2 March 2020
- Submission deadline has been extended to Friday 1 May 2020
- Finalists will be announced on Friday 5 June 2020
- Winners will be announced via a digital ceremony on Wednesday 24 June 2020

The 2020 KE Awards are split into six categories:
KE VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
The KE Volunteer of the Year award recognises the outstanding contribution of an individual engaged in volunteering activities for PraxisAuril, for the benefit of the wider KE sector/community.
KE PARTNERSHIP OF THE YEAR
This award recognises the success of a partnership which demonstrates the value of collaboration.
INTERNAL KE INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR
This award recognises an initiative which demonstrates new and innovative ways in driving KE activity within an institution, this could include cross department or faculty projects.
EXTERNAL KE INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR
This award recognises an initiative which demonstrates new and innovative ways in driving KE activity by engaging with external partners.
KE DEAL OF THE YEAR
This award recognises a KE team (or KE professional) who have delivered outstanding performance to their institution through a particular deal (licensing, spinout, royalty, etc.)
KE TEAM OF THE YEAR
This award recognises a KE team who have excelled in delivering excellent service and value to their institution.
